Stakeholder Engagement on NamPower’s Bulk Tariff Application

The Electricity Control Board (ECB) is currently hosting a stakeholder engagement session in Swakopmund on NamPower’s Bulk Tariff Application.

The engagement forms part of the tariff review process aimed at ensuring a reliable, affordable, and secure electricity supply, while keeping electricity accessible for all Namibians.

Stakeholders from industry, businesses, local authorities, and civil society are invited to share their views on the application. Their input assists the ECB in understanding the diverse realities across the country and strengthens transparent regulatory decision-making.

During the session, NamPower presents its tariff application, after which stakeholders are given the opportunity to ask questions, seek clarifications, and provide comments. These contributions are recorded and form part of the information the ECB considers before making its final tariff determination.
